TODAY

Today, the first day for my new blog. I have lots on my mind which I hope to share with you in the coming days and weeks ahead.

My family shares a daily text set up to say good morning, share news, birthdays and more. The flyer below is from this morning (3/21/2025) speaks truth.  As I read the flyer, I thought to myself, "WoW, so on point". My next thought, "Faith without work is dead".

My trust and faith in God are strong. But let us not forget that "Faith without works is dead". James 2:26

James highlights that faith should be demonstrated by action, not faith alone (James 2:14-26). No, salvation is not earned thru good works. James emphasizes that true faith is a gift from God and should naturally lead to good works: helping those in need, serving others, living a life that reflects our faith: service, compassion, integrity.

Our fellow citizens are suffering as we live thru what is being likened to an oligarchy (a form of government in which power rests with a small number of people)

As we go through this tailspin what are we doing? Are we writing/make calls, demanding better, demonstrating. We must do more than pray. We can't do everything, but we can do something.

Jesus was considered by many to be a radical. Remember that he threw the merchants and money changers out of the temple. All I'm asking is that you do what YOU can do. And continue to pray.

Love ya'll❣️

Well, that's it. That's what I wrote this morning; I still feel the same.

An old African Proverb says: It takes a village to raise a child. In this case it will take the involvement and support of the majority of this country's people to right the wrongs we see happening in our country. It will take the Republicans in the Senate and the House. They must stop being afraid of DJT.  They must listen to the people who put them in office. It will take the Democrats and the Independents too. They must not cave!!

I'm going stop here and let what I've said, 'sink in'.

Peace
